"Excuse me, do you know where Opera House is?" asked a stranger to Namera.
The guy was dressed really smartly. Namera smiled at him and answered, "Take the first right from here and then left. The building is at the corner. You won't miss it".
"Thank you," he said and walked away.
Namera was blushing. In and around where she worked most boys were casually dressed. This stranger in his smart office wear was a fresh respite.
"My office is just there. I could have offered to walk him till there," she quietly thought and continued standing at the same spot.
"Damn, what is happening to me?, she said aloud looking at him walk into oblivion.
When she reached office, her colleague asked her, "Hey Namu, how come you are late today?"
"Give me a break Pranav, 5 mins don't make anyone late," said Namera.
"Agreed. But you still haven't answered my question," said Pranav.
"Fine. I saw a cute guy asking for direction in the middle of the street and I froze," said Namera.
"Typical you. When will you seize the moment?" asked Pranav.
"I know, I know," she stated hastily.
"So, how was he?" said Pranav.
"Handsome, smart, tall, sexy, fluent English and yes, no ring," said Namera.
"Are you sure he was not gay?" asked Pranav.
"Not that I can think of. But if he was, then I would have surely directed him towards you. Anyways, now it's too late. Now scoot. I have a meeting to attend, a client to please," said Namera.

A week went by and the stranger's thought still troubled Namera. If only she had acted on her impulse. One never knew what was in store
It was nearly lunch time, when Pranav came to Namera, "Hey, we are all going out for lunch. Do you want to join us?"
"I have a meeting with Jr. Malhotra. He has some new ideas for their campaign. I may have to have lunch with him".
"I wish you could come," said Pranav.
Just then Namera's secretary knocked on the door and came in, "Ma'am, Mr. Rajeev Malhotra is here for you".
"Great. Make him sit in conference room 1 and offer h something. I will just be there in a few minutes," said Namera. And then she looked towards Pranav she said, "You go ahead. I won't be joining you guys".
Both Pranav and Namera got out of her office. While Pranav got out of the building, Namera entered the conference room.

After lunch Pranav was waiting for Namera in her office. When she walked in, he said, "Dude, we missed you. Please don't leave me alone like that. Everyone else is so boring. Hello! Are you even listening to me?"
Namera was smiling. It was true, she hadn't paid any attention to what Pranav was saying. She picked up the phone and instructed her secretary, "Cancel all my appointments for the day and fill it in with Mr. Rajeev Malhotra's name".
"What was that?" Pranav asked her once she had finished the call.
"Rajeev and I are going out for lunch, business of course," she said and winked at Pranav.
"What! What did I miss?" asked a confused Pranav slipping his arm around Namera's neck and playfully tugging it.
"Nothing. OK everything. Rajeev is that stranger from the other day," confessed Namera.
"And you are finally seizing the opportunity," said Pranav doing a random jig, happy for his best friend.
